“Boccenheimer” are the Bocce Ball Champions of the Late Summer ‘23 Season, after defeating “Barack Obocce” 15-8!
It was the playoffs for Bocce Ball last night, and it did not disappoint! “Boccenheimer” and “Barack Obocce” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! Everyone was expecting a great match between these two talented teams and that's exactly what they got! The championship started off with “Barack Obocce” jumping out to a 7-1 lead early in the match. “Boccenheimer” thought their championship dreams were over until they scored 4 points in one round to make the score 7-5. It was anyone's game, until “Boccenheimer” started making great throw after great throw scoring 10 points in a row and pulled away from “Barack Obocce”. “Barack Obocce” kept it competitive all the way till the end, but “Boccenheimer” could not be stopped. It was a hard fought battle between these two impressive teams, but “Boccenheimer” ended up winning 15-8 and walked away as the champions of Bocce Ball!

Everyone was expecting a great match between these two talented teams, and that's exactly what they got! The championship started off with both teams matching each other point for point, and it looked like it was going to stay that way for the whole game. Until “Total Deboccery” kept making great throw after great throw, and started to pull away after a couple rounds. “Bocce Potter and the Order of Pallino’” kept it competitive all the way till the end, but “Total Debocery” could not be stopped. It was a hard fought battle between these two impressive teams, but “Total Deboccery” ended up winning 15-11 and walked away as the champions of Bocce Ball!

Once again, the bad boys of CCA’s Tuesday night Bocce league, Poops McGee, can call themselves champions. After winning the spring championship, Poops backed up their play and kept the championship in-house by winning the summer championship as well. It didn’t come easy, though. The semifinal round saw Poops face an unexpected opponent as league manager, Justin Maltsberger, stepped in to help out a undermanned Trippin Balls squad. This “athlete” was up to the test, and struck a bit of fear in Poops McGee before being relinquished of his sub role when Trippin Balls official teammate showed up. Poops McGee went on to win the semifinal round 2-1. The championship saw a familiar foe in Boccelism, led by the ‘ol wiry veteran, Gerald Hennesey. Once again, the match went to a game 3 with Poops McGee winning the third game handily. Congratulations to Poops McGee and all other participants!!

It was the playoffs for Bocce Ball last night, and it did not disappoint! “Chewbocce” and “Jackie Treehorn Presents Boccejammin’” made it to the championship and it was a match to remember! Everyone was expecting a great match between these two talented teams, and that's exactly what they got! The championship started off with both teams matching each other point for point, and it looked like it was going to stay that way for the whole game. Until “Chewbocce” kept making great throw after great throw, and started to pull away after a couple rounds. “Jackie Treehorn Presents Boccejammin’” kept it competitive all the way till the end, but “Chewbocce” could not be stopped. “Hieronymus Bocce” are the Bocce Ball Champions of the Spring ‘23 Season, after defeating “Barack Obocce” 15-14!
It was the playoffs for Bocce Ball last night and it didn’t disappoint. The championship game was between “Barack Obocce and “Hieronymus Bocce” and it was a match to remember. The championship started off with “Barack Obocce” scoring the first point of the match but “Hieronymus Bocce” came right back and tied it up. The game started off very evenly matched but “Barack Obocce” started to pull ahead after making point after point. “Barack Obocce” started to dominate the championship by taking a 10-3 lead. It looked like “Barack Obocce” was going to be crowned the champions, until “Hieronymus Bocce” hit a stroke of luck and started to close the gap 10-7. “Hieronymus Bocce” kept making great throws and smart choices that narrowed the gap to 10-9. It was anyone's game at this point! “Barack Obocce” was able to punch through a bocce blockade and was able to secure 3 points to take a 13-11 lead. “Hieronymus Bocce” and “Barack Obocce” were going back and forth with their points until “Barack Obocce” was able to squeak out 1 point and tie the game up at 14-14. Just when it looked like “Barack Obocce” was going to win, “Hieronymus Bocce” pulled off a miraculous throw with their last ball that moved the pallino in their favor. This forced “Barack Obocce” to continue with their turn, but they weren’t able to get their ball close enough so “Hieronymus Bocce” walked away as the champions of Bocce Ball!
